i have a gl2. it is very expensive. i don't want to break. i'm considering getting a smaller, lighter and less expensive camera for a helmet cam. that way, next time i botch my bio on cardiac cave, i wont break my gl2. for those of you who have experience using helmet cams, what kind of cameras do you use. should i just fix up some super padding and shove my gl2 in a back pack? or would you recommend buying something smaller?
you should be so lucky as to be reading this.

get a cheap little sony or whatever you can find for cheap with video inputs then get a helmet cam fro 300 and run the wires into a backpack with the cheap cam in it

^DO NOT PACK UR GL2. trust me its not worth it. i forget the link but a company makes professional company makes helmet cams specifically for this. i mean think about it. yea it would be sick havin a helmet cam but even if u buy a cheap 200-300$ sony if it breaks that's a lot of money still. i'd say either go with the more $$$ professional built ones, or play it safe. if the $$$ is worth the footage go with the sony, but fuck the GL2 that shit is huge. not only is it big, but expensive and heavy. u'd be surprised. i'd guess it throws of ur balance and makes it feel more awkward
