At the resort i work at, we tell all the rookies the theme is one thing, and all returners come dressed as something else. For example, when i was a rookie, we were told the theme was nappies, and we arrived, all in adult diapers, they were all in a beach theme. And last season, we told them the theme was geeks and nerds, and we all came as jocks and cheerleaders. More kitsch value in Aus coz we dont have jocks or cheerleaders...but you get the idea!

billy bob 40 hands.  Craziest and funnest party i ever went to hosted by CPSC, walked up to the front door and there was a Mickey's Semi outside.  complete with white trash outfits and slutty girls, mud wrestling and enough cheap beer to keep you pissing for days. You provide one 40 and partygoers provide the other 

mustache bash-nuther good one.

blacklight/highlighter party. 

Been to so many themed parties over the years and one thing remains true- a theme is better than none. and buy 3x the alcohol you'll think you'll need; trust me it wont be wasted and it'll get everybody naked within 4 hours. 

Or you can do a formally themed party and make a bar.  have a couple good buds bartend, buy one bottle of each type of alch and some beer.  Make a guest list and only let people on the list in, but the catch is they have to bring ethier a handle of shitty liquor of a 5th of a nicer, more expensive bottle.  Guys will be swagged out girls will be in sexty dresses and heels... trust me its a good party to throw, went to one and 200 bottles and a keg of blue moon were gone by 200 am
