its the original goldrush- a road rally similar to the Gumball 3000, just not all the publicity involved

They are traveling in a pack of supercars and they all have cb's to talk to each other-

Pretty sure it was during a road rally, so they were talking to some guys in other cars who were also racing with them who backed off to stay behind the cop and see what he was doing.

they are accessories to the valentine1 radar detector, it makes the band width of the radar a lot bigger, making it easier to detect a cop doing radar, and you can pick them up miles away.
