Midway Project

Have any of you checked out the Midway Project? It's a photo/video project showcasing the impact of the pacific garbage patch on the Midway islands which are basically in the middle of the ocean 2,000 miles away from land. It's filled with dead albatross since they were fed plastic by their parents, thinking it was food. Seeing this type of stuff pisses me off because it's the result of us being mindless consumers and not caring about our waste.
