Salomon sizing compared to full tilt sizing

I have a pair of 28.5 salomon spk kaos's that fit me well but still give me pretty bad shin bang and i wanna try out full tilts, i know i have to get one of the pairs with a wider sole because i have pretty wide feet but should i stay with 28.5??

i would rather get booters if the fit isnt too narrow

I think booters shell is a closer length to spk than the original so probably stick with 28.5, full tilts arent gonna magically fit perfect either. Try a bootfitter.

spk's are super wide and most full tilts are super narrow. you would be stupid to think they're gonna miraculously fit your feet.

The only full tilt boot that will fit a wide foot will be the Booter. It has a 102mm last which i believe is also what the spk kaos has.

I would be wary of ordering based off of your size though. Getting shin bang is more often than not because of a boot that is too big.

I had the same trouble. Size charts lie. I wear a size ten shoe and if i were to go by the fulltilt size chart i would be in a 31 mondo size. Turns out the correct size for me is 26.5.

That is a world of difference. Do yourself a favor and try them on before you buy.

The best thing to do is to actually go in, see a boot fitter and get fitted. We can't tell you that the same size boot will work, and you better not be ordering online. Also, If your boots fit, just work on not landing backseat, or maybe try's booster strap

It's wider than the original 3 peice design, but again, go get fitted properly before you buy a boot.

Don't be thinking that a full tilt boot is going to be the one stop fix it. Try a booster strap first to hold you upper leg better, along with landing less back seat. There are plenty of great boots out there, don't be so set on a full tilt

so i went to bergers in corning and tried on the drop kicks in a 28.5 and they felt amazing! perfect fit and sooo light! and the narrower fit actually felt alot more snug in my heels so im deff buying a pair as soon as i sell me salomon spk 90's

Im sorta in the same boat. i currently have this years spk 90s in a size 28.5 and they are a tad bit too big which causes my foot to slosh around quite a bit when i start shredding. ive tried on drop kicks and they fit my foot very well but im not sure what size to go with. im a mens 10-10.5. btw i tried on the fulltilt in a 28.5, but im not sure how big they'll feel once they pack out. i have extremely limited access to an actual bootlitter and i just cant pass of the deals that are going on now. what size should i go with?

The only way you can really work out what size will be best is to get a shell check done. Any shops who sell boots should have at least 1 person who can check the shell for you. If they dont, you probably dont want to buy from them, as if you have problems they wont be able to help you.

Its also worth considering that your foot will change shape once you have a footbed to support your foot. So its often best to get footbeds first and then go try some boots.
