Weird question (kinda)

So well this is kinda weird, but I figured I might give it a try anyway.
I am currently studying environmental protection techniques (bachelor of science) and I would love to do an Internship or something like that in the US (preferably somewhere I could ski a lot too obviously ^^)
So I figured I would ask here if anyone maybe knows a company working in that field (can be air pollution, waste projects, water quality and so on) that I could talk to in order to find myself a place to go!

Lol. Check with your guidance counselor and just try and go anywhere you think would be sick, co, ut, ca or even go abroad with it like Vancouver. Might be able to find some kind of field work. Like I said though if you're looking for lab work just do it in a place with dope snow and know its much easier to go abroad through school then when you're out trying to work so maybe take advantage if you can.

Well the thing is, that neither the university, nor the company I am working for atm (We have a system here, where you work at a company for 3months, then go to university for the next 3 months and so on) have contact to companies in the US (or anywhere else). So I kinda have to find a company on my own, which is kinda hard by just scanning through some websites.
I emailed some gouvernment organisations, but havent gotten any answer so far. So I thought maybe someone here might be able to help me and decided it was worth giving it a shot :P
