i grew up riding so cal and the snowboarders arent thaaaaat scarey. Now I live in Colorado where everyone skis... well mostly everyone. except for a couplah snowboarders.

Yeah I lived there for a while. Met some super cool peeps but for the most part it's "blah blah blah, so I live in Cali.". To which I'd retort, "no shit. We are in Cali.". To which they would give a confused look and then continue with, "so I live in Cali....". Haha. Ya also hear, "I snowboard cause it fits the Cali lifestyle much more.". Haha. There's some hardcore skiers In Cali, so don't get me wrong. Jus sayin. I couldn't live there again.

its just that it looks so bland and warm, not what I think of when it comes to skiing.
bear and mammoth look alot the same with the park layout's (no trees)
boreal is the only resort that looks kinda fun
