Jens Nilsson was amazing riding but I hated the editing. If he had another 30 seconds of good riding and better editing he could have won.

I wouldnt say level 1 is park heavy at all, if anything they are heavy into urban.

If you ski or watch edits you would've heard of at least half the riders easily. Sandy's edit was sick but I'm sure most would have had a better chance if they didn't already use some of their shots in other edits

Big SHOUT OUT to Ross for having a legit entry.

Sick of edits having shots of rails and boxes from parks - seriously cut that shit out and take your tricks to the streets. Sooo much more legit if you don't rely on perfectly manicured park rails/boxes and instead step it up in urban.

I'll just leave this here... Tom Wallisch is still "super unknown" to the general public. Its all about perspective.

If you watch edits all day long you're going to recognize the riders and some of their shots....

True on the need to keep it Superunknown, A good rule would be if you have had 3 years of personal segments in a Level 1, MSP, PBP or TGR production, then you are no longer "superunknown".  Up to that point, anyone can compete.

I watched only the finalists but they seemed very mediocore.  Not a lot of innovation or bangers.  Pretty much your standard boring edit.  And not even too many dubs. I couldn't believe I saw some shots of people hitting what looked like kids park rails that were like a few inches off the ground.

The one that clearly stood out and should win was Ross's.  His urban stuff was really cool.  Rewinded a bunch of times to see some tricks over and over again.  That flatspin off that roof was ridiculous.  The backy through the tree to the picnic table was sick.  Also the up rail water ski style was real sick plus he got 4 out.  I'm pretty sure he's what level 1 is looking for.

Also it was a tough season so I'm sure thats why the superunknown edits weren't as good as normal.
