so i was thinking, how did the movie industry decide to take my favorite childhood book, the lorax, which is directly about anti-commercialism and comercialize it. I was watching tv and an ihop commercial came on talking about the lorax special which is green eggs and ham and i was like wtf, and then i was like, also wrong book!
Dear Hollywood: stop mining my childhood for ideas to ruin. The Lorax barely has a plotline. It certainly lacks a love story. And it definitely does not include Danny fucking Devito. Please go back to ruining books that already suck, like Twilight.
im just stoked that Danny Devito is the voice for it. i think they should aim for a PG-13 or R rated movie too. you could but some serious adult humor spins on it haha
alright so its a movie about environmental awareness in an industrialized world. raise your hand if you think our industrialized world could use a bit more environmental awareness (*raises hand*). so what is wrong with a movie made to teach children about the impact humans can have on the world if we dont take some precautions?
