Website hosts/design

For those website folks out there, I'm thinking about getting a website for my photo stuff. Keep in min my budget is limited.

Where is a good place to have my website hosted?
What are my choices as far as design goes?
Anything else I should know?

take a look around and see if its what your into. You need an invite to get in, but from there its easy to design a think like 60 bucks a year to get your own html. I might have an invite i can send you!

Check out >> iPage.com <<. I use it for my fraternity's web page and its AWESOME! The control panel is loaded and you can install WP and what not easily. You also get unlimited disk storage, a free domain, unlimited mailboxes, $75 of google ad credit, and a ton of other stuff including site security; and it's only like $40. I have not had any problems with it to date.

If you decided to go with iPage, could you go to >> www.atoalphapi.com << and click on the ipage ad in the sidebar. Once you have iPage hosting, you can become an affiliate too and anytime someone clicks on their ad on your site and buys hosting, you get $105.00!!!

500px.com is easy and $50 a year for hosting/template, domain's are pretty cheap, but there is almost no customization. My website (Sig) is a 500px one, I just needed something quick.

Will definitely look into that more when my hosting expires in october, I will 100% not be renewing.

Also, pretty much all hosting/template sites offer a free basic package but you have to use their domain, eg: zbphoto.500px.com, if money is an issue, I'd consider that.

Lol, fair enough, but their call center help is awesome and their packages are pretty cheap. Get an email package as well, customers like to see that you don't have you own email.
