How to embed videos from Youtube as an upload

My video is too big to upload to Newschoolers by 77MB, is there any way of embedding the video from youtube to NS? I've tried to copy this

into the space when I click on "Upload embed code instead of a video file" but its says its remotely hosted and wont appear in the latest videos section. Let me know if anyone can give me a pointer.

Also feel free to troll me and call me a 13 yr old noob.

i had the coding in the space but instead it actually put up my video..i just want this video on Newschoolers

Use a compressor to make the original file smaller. What program are you using to edit?

I recently viewed a video with an avicii song in the background. The skiing was great but the music ruined it and made the edit unbearable. In my opinion this music does not belong anywhere near skiing. Avicii if for the dirty kids dancing in dark rooms with other sweaty boys not for riders killing it in the park. Maybe I'm wrong tell me what you think.

im using adobe premiere but that shouldn't matter right? It's all exported to an mp4

The file shouldn't be too big though because it's just a few minutes long. I'm not familiar with the adobe suite, is there an equivalent to apples compressor ? When my files come out of fcp they are around 1gb or so, and then compressor takes that to like idk like 60mb.

I actually just read the op a bit more clearly. I believe that remotely hosted videos do not appear in latest videos added, when I remotely hosted one it did not appear there.

Lower the bitrate by a hair. Premiere even show you how big the file will be based on your render settings. You should be able able to get it right where you need it.

Also, are you using the desktop uploader? That can do massive files.

Wait... are you using the desktop upload app? Because if you're just using the web form, then you have lots more space by using the app.

The app has a limit of 5gb per upload, with no limits after that.

I think we have really shitty placement, as people keep not seeming to know its there. Does this not make sense?

Read the text in the highlighted box. Note it in the live upload form, grab the app from there and you'll be set!

I think we really need to adjust where its located. Doesn't seem to make sense to anyone.

I will try that out, I saw that option but it wasn't too clear on what the point of it was. I'll let ya know how it works out.
