So i just got back from a trip up to Okemo vermont and noticed that where the edges are connected on the ar7, where there are little plastic pieces glued in that are supposed to hold the tip and tail edges to the side edges, those are all missing. Now i have gaps between all of my edges leaving a little space. Is there a problem with this?
I have the same skis and I wouldn't worry about it, the little gap allows for the ski to expand when changing temperatures. Plus it's right on the tip so it's unlikely that it would catch on anything.
Mine did too and they came out the first day and I've skied over 50 on them since then. It most likely won't affect anything because they are on the tips and tails but if it bothers you have a shop epoxy the gaps.
I know it has already been said, but for some more reasurennce the same thing happened to my ar7's the first day i skied them and i've skiied them 30 times since and theres no problem.
