I've been looking at Armada's Alpha 1 skis, and they sound like a good idea but i havent heard anyone's opinion. I looked for customer reviews and only found 1, and there arent many videos of people riding these skis. Are these skis as dope as they look and are the worth the price?
Yes they are an amazing ski. Next years are way better. I love riding my alphas and exspecially since their next years. They have new technology. You should wait till you can get next years
This has been the overall review from our customers who we've sold them to this year. Good edge hold on the East Coast hard pack and killer in the park for jumps. Haven't heard anything negative about the rails though.
people that think the halo is a noodle haven't skied it. thing is super stable, and i haven't ridden the alpha 1 but its a very similar ski. you won't go wrong with either, i really enjoy riding my halos.
my brother, my best friend and i all have either alpha 1s or halos (pretty much same ski) and we love them, i find them great on the rails, they dont hold up on hard pack cuz my edges are pretty dull from rails but there amazing on jumps
literally the best ski iv ridden, so light and fun, get them longer
its the armada rep. the guy who is in charge of my state for armada. i know him well so it worked out good. you might be able to get a pair of demos if you find out who ur rep is
Hands down the best park ski I've ever ridden. Stable on big jumps, really fast switch, and they carve like a GS ski. But they're just not quite as stable on rails as any wider park ski.
