Edge Cracks

Not sure if this is a repost but,About a week ago i noticed that my edge cracked. Every day i've skied since i've lost more edge. Is there anything that can be done to prevent losing more edge? I need them to last me the rest of the season and possibly this summer.

get a file and make sure both sides of the edge are level and flush with each other
then use a gummy stone

I was also wondering the same thing. Is an edge crack a big deal? can I go to a shop to get it fixed or does it not matter at this point?

most companies dont warrenty skis that have been used alot on rails, not sure if your local shop can help though

Once your edge cracks, there is nothing that can be done short of cutting out and replacing the edge...which is pointless on a pair of park skis. To slow down the process, file the cracked edge to make sure its smooth so it doesnt get caught in the snow as much.

I think detuning a fresh set of skis underfoot helps edge longevity too.
