nothing wrong with greed, without it we wouldnt be driven to succeed, to push yourself and become the best you can. you need to put yourself above others, nobody can help yourself more than you, you are your own responsibility, not only does it make the most sense, its morally right to put yourself and your needs first. our desire to be better and put ourselves first hopefully will also benefit society, but unfortunately its not always so, some people gain success by hurting others, and thats not always bad, its how the best raise to the top and keeps everyone driven to help themselves succeed.
greed isnt just human nature, its nature in general, what animal species isnt greedy? what plant species puts other plants above itself? in nature, the strongest, smartest species lives, the weak species die. and sadly, its the same with humans, and it will always be the same, sure we can do everything we can to minimize it, and why not? but its impossible to stop it, its a natural process.
and nothing wrong with those celebrities wearing tens of millions of dollars in jewelry, they earned it with their hard work and those poor people in the neighboring district didnt. if they want what the celebrity has, they need to go earn it. what would drive us to be that celebrity and succeed if it was given to us and poverty didnt exist? not only is it impossible, if we all were somehow given success, and werent driven to avoid poverty and get as far from it as we can, we would be fucked as a society.
now if you want to help out the starving and poverty stricken thats great, go work hard make some money and help them out, or go start some charity. our ability to stand out and succeed is what gives us the luxury to help others.
