I'm just wondering what you think. I mean, I love this site, a whole bunch. I love the skiing community and shredding and having the best time. But browsing through forum upon forum I find that many comments, statements, opinions and point of view seem to mesh more closely with what I see as retrogressively conservative. To be more specific, I find that many forums involving topics of alternative energy and the use of non-renewable energy are filled with people unwilling to open their minds to new ideas, being critical of progressive ideas that need to work, while defending the systems that are driving our planet into the ground. In many of these cases they are simply talking out their ass from what I imagine is a partially remembered FOX News broadcasts. This is mainly where I'm coming from, but I also notice that many people come off as slightly homophobic, or at least socially unaware, to put it kindly.
