I am moving to Eugene this summer and was wondering what the best place to get a Seasons Pass is. I like to ski park mostly unless there is powder. Also the drive and price are factors. Thanks for any help.
eugene? bummer man unless your attending U of O. if you really love to ski i would consider not moving to eugene. you are so far away from bachelor and mt hood. there is always willamete pass ski area but its still like an hour and a half away and its no where near as good as bachelor or hood.
I do not have a choice, I am 16 and my family is moving. How far away are Hood and bachelor specifically. Because if its around 2 hours that no that big of a deal. Anyway more answeres would be helpful.
Teen preseason deal season pass to Bachelor was like $275 this year, amazing price that can be payed off within 6 days. Order your pass online and go into Bergs on the picture taking day so you are ready for opening day on the hill!
Depending on the road conditions and traffic it can be 2:30 to 3 hours to bachelor.
The closest hill is Willamette Pass (about an hour), you can buy a season pass there for a comparable price to bachelor but keep in mind they have minimal operations and currently their park is 3 boxes.
Hood I can't give you tons of advice on because I mostly ski at Bachelor.
Hope that helped! Pm me if you have any more questions.
Btw I am 16 as well and living in Eugene.
if you're 16 here's the best thing to do get a bachelor pass and ride the bergs bus to bachy on the weekends, you get to sleep on the way, shred all day, and sleep coming back. it's a sick deal. Eugene isn't a terrible place to be a skier, it's not the best but it's still really fun, plus there's willamette pass just over an hour out of town which can have some of the best skiing in oregon if the conditions are right
I go to U of O and all my friends and I have passes to Bachy. Pretty much your only worthwhile option. On a clear day it's about 2 hrs 45 minutes. Nice drive though
Im moving to Eugene in september starting fall term at U of O. Getting a pass at mt bachelor and hoping to trade bowls for rides and take the bus cause I wont have a car.
