K2 Press 2012 or Line Mastermind 2012???

i am 13. this is my first year park skiing but ive been skiing since i was 4. im a good skier. i found these 2 skis but i didnt know which ones were better. they are both around the same price. also i love landing switch so should i get core center or true center? please help me and thanks!!

masterminds. I know people that ski on both and the press are generally a little worse, but they are cheaper also gear talk

If you centermount masterminds, the tails will eventually snap. masterminds have slow bases that are terrible at holding wax. I'd go K2. I feel like they will last longer than masterminds.

id go k2 sight if they are around that price range. probably the nicest out of those and will hold up the
longest

Ya I buddy of mine had masterminds and they are definetely a cheaper made ski, you get what you pay for so don't expect awesome durability if you go for those.

the press is overall a more durable ski, but the tails on them a next to nonexistent. The masterminds are more flexible than the press, but both are fun skis. Get whichever suits you better, or save up and buy k2 domains, they will take any beating and they are by far the funnest skis I've owned.

i have 2011 press and my friend has 2011 mastermind. ive skied mine almost 2 seasons and hes skied his a little over 1. we both ride the same amount and take care of our skis, but his are completely destroyed. mine are near perfect go with the k2s. and i would wait for the 2013 models they come out in the fall

It really won't matter that much since its you first year skiing park you aren't gonna do anything that would bring a lot of abuse ....just go with what's a better deal

Get any K2 ski over a Line if it comes down to it. They are made from better material and will undoubtedly last longer. Also, Line bases are slow

both are cap construction. spend a more dollars and get something with a vertical sidewall.

i have a pair of k2 disordely, and they have worked great for a begginging park ski. they are very sturdy and i am sure the k2 press is similar.

thanks for the advice guys. i have one more thing to add, i am more of a jump kind of guy, ive hit 360s and 180s on my crappy non-twintip skis but also i love hitting boxes. would the k2 press fit me in that category ?

have a friend with the press, he likes it, seems a bit flimsy to me, and being a fan of any line ski my bias says line. truth is do what you like you can ski a ski thats beat to shit until it literally falls apart. as long as you like it. just my 5 cents.

This kids using his age to help find the correct ski for him. These are both soft flexing cap constructed skis which can be good for younger riders. He's not "broadcasting" his age for no reason...
