So I was jumping, landed backseat, and got shin bang. Nothing too weird except that when I go up stairs I can't support weight with my right leg. I can walk perfectly fine, but when I put weight on that leg on stairs, it gives out. Anyone know what causes this and how long it takes to go away?

shin splints it might be splits.... idfk anyway i got it a few weeks ago you cant really do anything just ice it and keep skiing haha thats what i did it goes away eventually but what it is i believe is the muscle stretching apart from the bone or something like that
