Crowbars vs. Eg2s?

I wear a medium thickness Marmot beanie under my Smith Holt, with my goggles under the helmet. I currently have a pair of old Smith Scopes which are probably worth $20, so it's time for an upgrade.

I went to a shop yesterday and tried on a pair of Crowbars, which I kinda hated. They crushed my nose under the goggle and didn't think the peripheral vision was too great. I ski park almost exclusively, so vision for riding switch is important. I know my head is pretty large, so I guess my face is too. So, question:

Will EG2s not pinch the bridge of my nose like the Crowbars did? (Obviously they'll have better vision.)

Open to other recommendations as well. I'd prefer to keep the price no more than $110 or so.

Best thing to do is go to shop and try on as many different goggles as possible...

EG2s are to big for my face but crowbars fit me perfect... No one can really tell you. You have to try them on for yourself.

Maybe you had them on a bit to tight, eg2s will probably fit fine.
Go in with your hat and helmet and try them on.

also take into consideration how much vig the goggles give your eye sight. I sold my crowbars because it was like looking through toilet paper rolls while skiing. i picked up some eg2s that felt big on my face at first but I like them now. check out eg2s and airbrakes.

I have both heres pros and cons:

EG2s Pros
-SUPREME comfort
-Unreal peripherals

EG2 Cons
-Easily fogged




Crowbar Pros
-Never fogs
-Fairly comfortable

Crowbar Cons
-Average peripherals
-Pinches the nose

False. There is a special coating on the inside of them that prevents fogging, however it fades away and washes away with water, meaning falls where snow gets in the goggles do this, then the goggles tend to fog fairly easy. However, they never get so foggy its unbearable, and can fade away fast because of the venting on the top is very good so air doesn't get trapped in on the inside of the lenses. Overall very good with fog, but they do fog time in and time out.

Fair enough, I know theres stuff on there to keep lenses from fogging but lets just say I've kept both goggles in the same care and the EG2s are more prone to it.

EG2s are awesome, like everyone said the peripherals are unmatched due to the large lens, BUT because of the large lens I find the googles aren't very compatible with a helmet, especially if you're wearing them underneath (googs too big).

I would recommend I/Os if you are going to be wearing a helmet. Being able to swap out the lens soooooo easily is unbeatable. If your googs fog up BAM one chairlift ride later your all set. Some clouds roll in making the light super flat, no problem, just a quick change of lens.

Bottom line: I would recommend I/Os to you
