Hey guys,
Today Im shooting the State swim meet and was wondering if you guys had any settings to recommend since the lighting can tend to be kinda weird in pools.
Nikon D7000
18-200 3.5-5.6 VR
Im prolly gonna be shooting stills most of the time

is it inside or outside?. and just try to see what settings shutter priority gives you, then change over to manual and you will see. if you shoot RAW you can change the white balance later.

yeah i would start with a higher shutter, then decide on an aperture and adjust iso accordingly trying to keep it as low as possible. i know some pools can be lit very well but i feel like most aren't so might need a wider aperture but that might make focussing a bit tougher

that doesnt matter 18-200 at a low aperture and bad lighting is still a bitch to deal with, with or without autofocus.

A polarizer will help limit how much the water reflects. I'd suggest using one for shooting subjects under water
All times are Eastern (-5)
