This. It's always bugged me that Dumont gets hate for being competitive. Just because our sport is filled with stoners and hippies it's looked down on to be intense in a friggen competition. In any other sport he would probably be commended for the same intensity. That drive is why he's been a podium pipe skier for a decade as well as slaying it in many other aspects of skiing as well. My buddies and I all thought Tanner tackling Xavier was so over the top that it seemed a little off to us. Not that it wasn't genuine, it was just weird. So Simon being pissed that the judges fucked him over in Aspen AGAIN really isn't something to rag him on.
