Opinions on Photoshop!

So after messing around with Photoshop for a few nights I've made my first legit image.

Just imported an image of Blue Mountain and changed the sky to night. Was actually a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. Them stars took like three hours of me going "WTF". The moon and NS PA logo were relatively easy though.


So NS, how can I improve? Obviously the selection edge, but what else. +K for advice.

Oh, and I took a screenshot because I have no idea how to save a multi-layered image as a JPEG. No idea.

Save As

Then there should be a option for a type of file.

Looks pretty sick!

Only things I could think of to improve would be to soften the edge between the trees and the sky (can't quite see if it was smooth or pixelly) and maybe make the NS logo not quite so bright (the bright thing isn't really working for me but if you like it it looks great!)

Either way sick job on the first real photoshop.

....Bitch, I ain't no ignorant second grader. I know how to save. Every time I save as JPEG it will flatten the images. When they are flattened, it ruins the picture.

I need to know how to save without flattening, or better yet just take what I see on my screen and put it someone else.

Save one version as a photoshop file (for future editing if need be) and one as a JPEG, the flattening shouldn't ruin it at all it just puts the layers together.

to save the image as a jpeg you need to go over tho where all the layers are and right click>flatten image, then you can continue to save as a jpeg

Yes, I know. When I flatten it though, it gets ruined.

I need a way around this. For all I know, there may not be.
