Reccomend me new skis

Hey guys, really need new skis, and I was wondering what to get. I ski 80% park, 10% all mountain, and 10% pow, so give me some good options. Thanks

there are some more. this catagory is virtually endless. these skis usually cost quite a bit since its the ski everyone wants hope this helps

well jugding by the fact that you are from the praries you wont need anything that hadnles insanly well in pow so I wouldnt go over a 100mm waist unless you like big skis. So I would recommend

Line Chronics
K2 Recoils
K2 Domains
Rossignol Scimitar
Rossignol Storm
Armada ARV
Armada AR7

Basically any park ski that isn't a complete noodle/ really small waist will work for you though

boom. I will never recommend anybody a park/all mountain ski than the Scimitar ever again. i love mine more than anything I have ever skied.


BUT: for this thread to be done correctly, we need to know what height, weight, age, ability, aggressiveness you are, not to mention what you like to do in the park, whether you want a stiff/soft ski, rocker/camber profile preference, width prefernce, sidecut/taper preference (if you have one, I know a lot of kids don't). Basically, if you want the perfect ski, you need to give us a lot more info.

but I love my scimitars.

im about 5 foot 9 and 150 pounds i ride boxes rails and jumps i want a softer ski but not to soft and i ride the moutains once or twice a year

My Nordica Dead Moneys work just fine for me. I ski the same stuff as you. Solid park performance (not really that playful though) and they can rip it on groomers.

Atomic patent. They are a medium soft flex with a lot of pop and they are plenty light. Look into them a little bit.

Rossignol scimitar. Rossi made the perfect ski with the scimitar. I love the extra width, the sidecut is amazing, and full rocker combined with a midstiffness flex allows for stability but also jibability.

it really depends on what you like, i suggest demoing a few pairs before buying. I prefer a really stiff longer pipe ski for everything but thats just me. So in that case i'd say armada thall, pipecleaner, or the rossignopl scratch's are great too.  If you can get your hands on an old pair of salomon dumonts i hear they were spectacular
