SSX Demo

This game blew my mind (keep in mind still a demo!) away, when I played it. Im getting it no matter if it has skiing in it or not. EA will probs throw in a DLC for it at some point since its a very open idea and a good one at that. I could say this is the return of SSX Tricky. Very fun game, everyone should go download it now.

Im an old SSX veteran so this game isnt too hard for me. I cant wait for Feb 28th fuck skiing, Im gonna sit inside and play some video games all day

Same. I'm fucking loving it. Pumped for the full game. I've only gotten first in the race once though. I swear the dude passes me no matter how fast I'm going/how much I'm boosting. I hope the full game has a free ride mode too.

The only reason they removed skiing from the game is because they didnt haven enough time to invent all the tricks and stuff different for skiing before the deadline. Tod Batty, who was a major influence on having skiing in the game. He is the creative director.

i played the trail you can trick on sooooooooo many times today, finally beat my friend with a 13 mill score/claim. There is a shit ton of trick you can do in this game. i wish they just had two teams working on either boarding or skiing, shit would be kray.

I still gotta figure out the controls and stuff, right now it seems to move too fast. And I looked around the globe and Kilimanjaro has lava pits in it or something.

Don't use boost. Just cruise around the mountains slowly and figure everything out.

I also realized that you spin proportionally to how far over you hold the left stick, so if you don't prewind your tricks you can pop off jumps and do sick laid out flips and slow 3s/5s.

hahah this game is awesome no matter how unrealistic it is! i just try to get as much spin and flips as possible. I just landed a 4140. which is Twenty-three 180's or Eleven and a half 360's! so rad

i wish they would bring it back to ssx trick level of tricks like you could still do a triple flips and 2000 degree spins but that was the limit, i dont like being able to do like a 6 flips and 4000 degrees of spins

the problem isnt that i cant do smaller spins its that if you want a good score you cant do smaller spins(small spins in ssx standards like 3 flips and no more than 2000 degree of spinning) also i think it takes more skill in tricky to time landings because you were spinning slower so, if you wanted to tuck it for one more flip higher chance of not making around compared to dd when your spining so fast that it doesnt matter when you choose to stop spinning because you can easily whip your feet around. other than that it looks llike a soild game and im defiantly going to buy it

Haha dude fuck the score! Beat it once with all the crazy spin/flip tricks then you can just cruise the run and throw whatever you want.

But seriously, the global competitions are fucking awesome. I'm not sure this is related to your post but I'm drunk so let's go with it. I've added like 12 xbox "friends" just from this game, and it's fun as fuck to see a feed of every time they try to beat your score or time on a course, and it's fun to try and earn credits by beating them and finding their geotag things, as well as trying to place in the global comps. I still haven't placed diamond in anything big, but I usually end up in the platinum rank. I've been making bankkkk playing online. I have Mac to a level 10 and I'm trying to figure out who I want to level up next
