Fleeing From Ski Patrol

A few months ago I was on the lift with a group of hilarious skiers. One of them began to tell a story of how he and his group of skiers escaped ski patrol. He said that ski patrol had pulled them over for going too fast and that they took off running while blowing whistles and all. Towards the end of the chase at the bottom of the mountain ski patrol had blocked off the trail with a few ropes across the trail and themselves. He then described this old lady trying standing right in front of the rope screaming "stoppp you have to stopppp", but the group of skiers ignored her and the other ski patrol and ducked the rope and quickly ran off to their vehicle. It seemed a lot funnier when they said it, oh well. What are your best stories of fleeing ski patrol? Personally, I never fled from patrol.

My mountain does not allow inverted aerials. So i did an inverted aerial in front of ski patrol and went straight down, a whole 200 vertical ft to the base.

ha, I got bagged today. lost pass for a week. good thing I prefer backcountry anyways :)
I'm okay with what happened cause I got to nail one of my favorite pillow lines in prime conditions today, and that's not where I got in trouble.

Wow you guys have safety nazis at your hills?? Our "Ski Patrol" are like paramedics on skis...they dont police the hill. If you are being an idiot, they would probably tell you, but I've never seen a high speed chase.

ok. last season on the chairlift it was me and my sister, ski patrol in the chair ahead of me and in frpnt of that 2 people on rentals. near the top, they threw an empty beer can off the lift. needless to say patrol wasn't havin it. the patrol guy yell you better pick that up and the guy proceeded to yell fuck you as he was getting off the lift. he turned to go down an easy hill untill he saw patrol charging at him. i guess he panicked and went down a black diamond. with mogules. he suprising ly made it halfway down but he hit a mogule head on, yard saled and slid down the rest of the hill.

last season a group of us were smoking a blunt like way off the side trails, and a patrol guy came through, and we hauled ass through back country with him like right behind us. when he caught us he just yelled at us, it was scary as shit, but he seemed pretty chill about it, he just told us not to do it again. or be more discrete. luckily he was one of the younger ones,

I never understood this policy. Its one thing if you are ducking a rope but it should be your own call what risks you want to take.

we stole a sign at a liftie saw us doing it called it in, we were halling tits down some trail could see patrol behind us mind you about 1000ft, ducked down some trail that goes to the condos hid under a bridge to meet our ride, we could see patrol as we drove away looking all over the lodge for us

i miss that.

i almost got my pass pulled at bigsky for ducking a rope that i thought just marked the edge of the run, not an out of bounds area. And the lifty was the one that flipped out way to much. Then when the ski patrol came, she was just like ya.... other people are gonna do it now. So just dont do it again.

by the end of the day there was like 7 more people that went down it.

I grew up skiing at a hill that was right beside another hill separated by a two lane highway. My pass gave me skiing privileges at both places and we would always go across the street to shred the other hill. My friends and I after a snow storm would roll across the street, jump off of chair #6 ski down to chair #4 jump off of that ski down to chair #2 jump off of that and then run across the street as ski patrol was hot on our tails. Extremely fun and I totally felt like a badass when I was twelve.
