Monitor help

Okay, so, my laptop died, and the new (old) one i got is WAY too slow to edit, it's a powerbook G4
I came across a decent PC desktop, way faster than the PowerBook, and was wondering if i could run the powerbook as a monitor for the desktop, at least until i can find the money for a new laptop or monitor

here are the ports on the PB:

Is it possible/will it work?
What cables, etc. do i need to make it work?

Unfortunately no, a "laptop" is only designed to have video out, I think if you wanted to put some crazy effort in you could take apart the screen and rewire some cables, but like i said, crazy effort.

Ya man, can't do it. But, you could find a monitor at a thrift store and get started.

For sure you can find old monitors for hella cheap if you don't mind maxing out at 60 hertz. I used one up until last year
