Yeah I believe they're coming out with a new blackout lens which will be the equivalent to oakley's dark grey or grey polarized. The closest thing they have to that now is RC36, which is a very dark orange, but looks basically black from the outside. I used to have one, but it was a little too dark for me so I sold it.
i think you may be talking about the gold sol x, not the rc36. gold sol x is smiths darkest lens with 7%vlt, which is still darker than next years blackout. the blackout will be 10% vlt
No, I used to have an RC36, which had no mirror, it was just super super dark orange and looked basically black or a real dark brown from the outside. The Gold Sol-x is dark, but it's got a gold mirror. The RC36 is unmirrored and you can't really see through it from the outside.
