Do you Rate the Picture or the Person?

When you are rating pictures on NS (or anywhere for that matter) do you tend to rate the quality of the picture itself or do you rate the subject of the image?
(EG: horrible, low light, grainy picture of super hot girl= 1 for bad pic or 10 for hot chick)
same with skiing pics... A bad pic of a friend gets a 10 because it's your homey even though the image itself is terrible or eff who it is and give the pic the low score it deserves... What do you do?

I forgot to include my own opinion.... I tend to only give a rating to pictures that I like. It is either an 8-10 or I just don't vote. I know a lot of people on NS don't think like that though so I am just trying to see how everyone else thinks.

I think it depends on how a person spends their time on NS.

50% NSG + 50% SG = Rating on trick
20% NSG + 80% M&A = Rating on trick, but mostly traits of actual photo

children will do anything to rebel.

whether that means rating down a sweet pic cause everyone else rated it up
anonymous racism and bigotry
etc


that said, i dont give anyone karma unless its a 10, i dont rate a pic unless its a 10. honestly, i dont give a shit about things or people that suck. isn't even worth me giving a 0. and yes, i usually rate the pic + person. pic takes precedence though. sick pic, shitty person = 10. average pic + awesome person i might give a 10 just cause im nice like that.

this, i dont really care enough to ruin a kids day cause his photo got a bad rating, so if i dont like it i just move on
