Pretty cool, go to a members profile and you can see their karma X-change and stuff. Right under their profile pic.

yea but it doesnt matter much.

its funny because it sees the recent karma update and there's just a straight line up from the huge jump everybody made

I love it. Now I have a graph to show how people love then hate me. It's become a game to see how high I can get my karma and then how I can get it to drop in one day

x-change is how they calculate your karma every day, they call is x-change because the way they're calculating your karma is secret.

It's just how other people rate you. You know how when you look at your own profile and it says "5.42/10" or whatever it says. That is the Karma XChange

The Karma overhaul was shocking enough as my Karma dropped 10,000 but now everyone can see how sad and pathetic my rating is. Not loving it.

That's the weird part. I was at 62,000 and dropped to 52,000 after the karma update. I added a bunch of pictures yesterday so it went up like 900 but is still far below where it was. I don't know why the graph says that anything went up because the fact is, I have only gotten less popular the longer i've been on NS.

Hm that's weird because the graph definitely shows your karma going way up recently, but your xchange going down. Oh well. Here, have 10/10

The reason why it is like that (not showing you lost Karma) is the fact that the graph is entilrely calculated with the new Karam system. Well this is my theory of why it doesn't show the drop in Karma.

Probably because you havent been posting enough since the Karma system was introduced. I believe that the Karma before the update took into consideration everything that you have done before Karma was introduced and now this is everything since it was.

i think it's pretty cool that now we get 2 parameters; karma and karmaxchange which give you an improved image of the members you're dealing with ....

whereas karma is calculated by a variety of factors (video, picture, post contributions, ratings and a whole lot of other things) you can now also see how exactly other members are rating them which is quite valuable imho ...
