Flash questions.

So I'm tryna run an off body flash to keep the image from being flat from one on body flash. I tried a hotshoe mounted flash, and it restricted me to 1/200 shutter. Is there any type of transmitter or something so i can run an off body with a flash on the camera too?

i think you can put a flash on top of the one mounted on top of the camera on these (find the one that fits your camera)

and the 1/200 or 1/250 shutter speed issue is common among most cameras, however the actual flash duration is often pretty quick, so it kind of acts to freeze action on it's own.

Cactus V5's are one of the best cheaper trigger/receivers. Each unit can operate as either, so you can mount a flash on top of the trigger like you asked about.

the 1/200th shutter speed happens with all cmos cameras. But if you get a decent flash, it's duration will be short and it will freeze the action for you. You are looking for a pair of triggers/receivers or transevers (depending on what model you get). What kind of flash do you have right now?

Look at YN-460 mark II and YN-560, both really great flashes that can't be beat for the price. Vivitar 285hv's seem to be popular around here, but I wouldn't EVER choose them over the Yongnuo's.
Just because Vivitar is American (I wouldn't know if the flashes are American made though) doesn't mean it's better than Chinese 'junk'.

I have two yn460 II's and they are pretty good for the money, and more reliable than the 285 hv's. I also am upgrading my triggers to some pixel opas's and will probably will be selling my rf602's (1 trigger 1 receiver), pm me if you want them!

i just had my new(christmas) yongnuo 560 crap out on me this weekend
