I'm a progressing park skier (started park this year) and I want to do a mute 3, but I don't know how. I can get the mute or the spin, but if I try to combine the two I don't spin. Any tips on how to keep spinning and not think of the grab as much? Do I need a ton of air?
Personally I think mute 3s are a pretty hard trick unless you're throwing the trick off of a pretty decent sized jump. So make sure that's not your problem. If you're still having trouble wait until about 180ish maybe a bit less to go for the grab, be sure to pull your feet up to your hands instead of your hands to your feet.
If spinning left, grab your left ski with your right hand and cross right foot under your left ski. This way both your shoulder and leg will be moving in the same direction as the rotation. Don't look at the grab, let your ski come up to your hand and use your eyes to spot your landing.
