Recommend me some gloves please?

having been using a set of sealskinz thin gloves(for dexterity(http://www.ldmountaincentre.com/product.aspx?id=3334&aid=12&currency=152&shipto=226)) Which is turns out are cycling gloves, but were good all the same, after it being -27C (with windchill) today(-17F) I figured I could do with some new gloves, I was wondering if you had any recommendations? I wouldn't mind some mitts but the temp where I live is generally between about 3C and -10C(Without windchill) (37 to 14F) and I'm wanting some where I don't sweat my hands up, open to anything cheers, +k for useful answers

Swany toasters are about the warmest mitten next to the hestra seath Morison pro. But the Swany's have a zipper down the side of them so they can open and your lined hand can come out. Or it can be sued to vent extra heat.

Thanks but I reckon mittens might be a bit too warm if they're good ones for my specific environment, I do like the zip down bit though but I can see them either falling off my hand or getting snow stuck inside them. does this happen?

I've never had a problem with the gloves before 100% waterproof and the zip really wraps them around you hands

Yeah I was looking at hestra's and was torn between vertical cut freerides and them, but the prices are a bit high.

I live in eastern maine and I have some oakley pipe gloves I wear with some magic gloves underneath. Suit me just fine. Dakine makes some dank gloves too

Get some from Hestra or FlyLow. Hestra's are expensive but worth it and FlyLow's are inexpensive and absolutely incredible.

How waterproof are the ski cross gloves?  I'm thinking of pulling the trigger and buying them, but I really want a do it all glove that is also waterproof

i'll never buy another pair of dakine gloves in my life. i completely shredded a pair of dakine cobras in a light season of riding.

i've got the hestra seth morrison pros now and am in love. i can't imagine buying anything other than hestra ever again.

Well it's important to note that none of hestras leather gloves are water proof. I have never had wet hands with mine though. It is super warm and great mobility. Applied a coating of te balm that came with them and they are $$$$$

i have some kombi Jon Olsson pro model gloves that i won at a ski movie, they're pretty sweet, not to warm but they are really dexterous and supple in the palm. the only bad thing about them is that because the are jon olsson's they give me the unbearable urge to touch a mans penis.

Hestra gloves are a little pricy but are the shit! So warm, just won a pair from a competition and I couldn't love them more.

Yeah in the end I bought hestra Seth morissons, definitely worth it, although first day I used them it was 80F+, so it was pretty hot,
