There are a few ways to do this that I wont mention cause I don't want ya comin back at me if ya eff up your lens. I will however tell ya to pick up an Oakley lens cleaning kit. You can find em at an Oakley store or a sunglass hut. Should cost around $15 and is worth every penny.
threadjack: i have a pair of airbrakes, bought em from the salomom store in whistler, still have the recept, theres a bubble on the inside of one of the lenses... warranty?
my lenses are already completely ruined. They couldn't be fucked up worse. What other methods you know? I though about diluting fingernail polish remover..
Keep trying to reply. Friggin third time now. God the mobile version sucks balls. Isopropanol. Find somethin with that in it. Don't use polish remover.
From what I can see that is the same as rubbing alcohol right? I did give that a shot, but without results. I already put in an order for Electric EG2s and will probably just buy another oakley lens too, but just wondered if I could salvage these since the goggle/lens was new last year.
No problem. Don't like saying rubbing alcohol cause a buddy somehow managed to strip his goggles with it once. Haha. Didn't want to be responsible for that again. Sorry it didn't work. Try calling Oakley though. Pretty sure they no longer run the lifetime lens gauruntee but it's worth a shot.
To the guy who got the airbrakes in whistler, bring them back to the shop and we will take a look at them for you. If they are a warrenty we will send them away for free as long as you have the receipt.
