sopranos is still the best and anything produced by HBO will be 10x better than the equivalent put out by either network or cable tv. (ie boardwalk empire vs hell on wheels) hell on wheels is still really good but the acting/camera work/character development/set design and whatever else you can think of isn't as good as an HBO show would be
