Protecing your phone

I just picked up an iPhone and I don't want it getting cracked to shit when I take diggers in the park. Where do you keep your phone/ipod?
I'm thinking a pocket near the breast on the inside of the jacket would be the most protective spot for an ipod/iphone.

get a case first off, something that has a ridge around the front so if you lay the phone flat on a table the screen doesn't touch anything

then have the phone in your chest pocket, screen facing you

I use one and of all of the times i have landed on/dropped my phone, it has not broken once (the phone and the case)
they are pricey but they have a super legit lifetime warranty

get a life proof case! water proof, shock resistant, scratch resistant, and snow proof!! so sick and looks better than the outdoor tech one IMO...i love mine

Get a trident case, they're solid and fairly inexpensive for how heavy duty they are.

Otterbox defender. Such a tank. Fell in a river within two weeks of getting my iPhone and it was perfectly fine, and it has put up with much much more abuse sine then.

Otterboxes are real legit. But they are kinda bulky.

I love my Speck case. hard case with rubber corners. Raised front cover so it won't sit on the ground if turned face down.
