Actually dude telluride is sick. I was there last spring...their park is not bad at all. It was pretty fun actually, not to mention telluride is one of the few places in Colorado that actually has skiing. And the scenary from telluride is unbeatable...If youre that close though you might as well go to silverton as well. That place is sooo sick.

yea dspin7x, i normally back you up....but you don't knwo your shit on this one. we've got killer skiing, not to say utah doesn't....but it's not like our mountains suck by anymeans, well maybe eldora.

anyway....if you're looking for some of the sickest powder you've ever skied in your life....goto steamboat in january.

for the best god damn park, goto breckenridge.

if you want decent skiing and a good park, copper is fantastic.

everything else has their strengths and weaknesses....but whatever you choose in colorado, don't ride eldora.

i went to crested butte last year and it was fucking sick, even though it doesnt get that much snow its still probably the best lift accessed terrrain in colorado

I skied a buncha colorado last spring. I like winterpark for its groomers, Abasin was pretty fun hikeable stuff but its real small so dont plan on spending too much time there. Copper has a shitload of terrain and is a lot of fun right after a storm and I liked their park a lot too.

yeah cause i'm gonna go for like 4 days, so i wanna go somewhere sorta big, maybe breck. or aspen. i've been to wolf creek, but they don't have a park.

if you're gonna be here for four days, i'd suggest the summit county region...that way you can ski a different mountain every day. then you get a nice taste of what colorado mountains can offer you.

My favorite places to ski in CO are Crested Butte(obviously) and Telluride. T-ride has the sick backcountry gates on gold hill and the drainage you ski into brings you right back to the gondola. Plus Telluride is the coolest town in CO. And well CB is steep and never crowded. And there is going to be a new superpipe and the park is going to rival many of the top parks in the state.

And if Silverton counts then it's really number 1.
