i get you were waiting till it was clear and all but learning to do tricks on a jump into a run is kinda whack. really jumping into a run period is unnecessary and dangerous for other people.
Thats like saying going through trees for some powder, off the side of a run is stupid. He waited until it was clear and then went I see nothing wrong with it. I'd rather learn it there instead of a big jumpline where all these douches would just heckle him
my tip: do them A LOT! go out and learn them on park jumps and do them everyday until you're not scared of them anymore! I have some friends who have been able to backflip for years but they haven't done one in so long they're afraid to throw that first one....so do a lot on all sorts of different park jumps and they get more and more fun!
the first one is always scary, I was terrified of my first one this season and I'm always a little scared of my first one on a new jump...but then you go do it and usually stomp it.
