THIS THREAD IS NOW ABOUT MOUNTAIN LIONS

Lots of great things in this update. The big user facing things I'm looking forward to are Messages, Airplay Mirroring, and Notification Center.

Messages is great because a good chunk of my friends have iPhones so now I'll be able to text them from my computer (where I am most of the day anyway).

Airplay mirroring is awesome because it's a wireless external monitor basically. Right now it's only mirroring, but that'll be soon to change I'm sure.

Notification center is gonna be great. Growl is pretty good, but over time it's sort of lost it's way and I'm excited to see it built into the operating system.

There's lots of other stuff to be excited about too.

Yeah, I just started checking it regularly again about a week ago.

I would very much like better widgets and the Airplay mirroring feature. I'm also glad to see they are taking some of the best simple features of Chrome and throwing them into Safari. With a few Safari upgrades I think I would use that instead of Chrome just for the reading list feature.

I'm keeping Lion because mountain lions suck.
