Replying to Anyone licensed with medical marijuana?

Well, recently i've been dong a little bit of research on the whole medical marijuana industry, concluding that with my health i think i may be entitled to get my medical card due to DDD AKA degenerative disk disease, along with C-3 C-4 Disk herniation (assuming with time & effort). I don't want to jump right into this big idea before doing a good amount of research and making sure i have a potentially good shot at achieving it, but i also would want to know from someone elses point of view who has been through the whole procedure.
