a oakley rep came with rome for a demo at my hill, i saw some people riding them trying them out and they looked awesome, im just wondering what the price will be and will this take out the splice

Canopy will start at $130.  It will go up from there depending on if you want 2 lenses or sig series.

This is not replacing Splice.  Splice still lives for those w/ smaller faces.

Any more q's, let me know: I am the design engineer for all sports performance goggles at Oakley.

Yes, splices fit quite small actually, they just look pretty big.

Seriously? I work at a shop and the splices haven't fit anyone with a smaller face; there's always gaps around the nose. I'll have to check that out though; cheers I didn't know that

Hmm, you could be right then. But I have a big head and splices don't fit me at all, the foam is touching the corners of my eyes. So many goggles fit way bigger than splices/crowbars, at least to me.

Gaps around the nose have nothing to do with goggle size. More like face/nose shape.

Oakley splice/crowbar are definitely on the smaller side. They have less curvature than, say, EG2s, so people with flatter faces/smaller nose tend to fit them better, although Oakleys do tend to fit a wide range of people.

I love the EG2s, but the curvature is way narrow so I have a huge gap in the nose. For some reason Oakley Crowbars are the only goggle that fits me. Everything else seems too small (Anon, Smith, Scott) or too narrow (Electric, POC).

Sweet looks like they took the riggers off the crowbars..And splices were about the same but a weird nose piece.

Such a clean design! "Canopy" must come for the fact that they look reminiscent of fighter pilot visors? (the glass on a fighter cockpit is called the canopy if you're clueless)

For one, it's the glass over the cockpit, not the visor, that's called the canopy, but I think that's what you trying to say Dr. FuckingDeuschebag.
