im not trying to claim but i just got 7s the other day and should i start working on getting a backflip and a cork 5 or work on getting higher spins? so what im asking do i hav enough ability to do a backflip or corks
dude i just got 3 & 5 and am thinking bout tryn loop or backflip. try it if you really want to. it more a comfortability thing than anything. if you feel you can do it then do it
Honestly just try whatever you feel comfortable with and think is safe, I can barely straight 360 but can cork 7 and rodeo 5, try stuff out on a tramp that will help alot
another question: how long did it take you guys to learn it im goin on a trip to a big resort in mid march anyway i could be landing good backflips by then?

backflips are about 10% skill, 90% comitment. If your feeling it go for it i got them before i tried to 5. But ya dude mental prep is key just find a peaceful place on the lift ride up and imagine yourself doing it. It also doesn't hurt to have a friend calling you a pussy if you dont do it haha
OP do you mind if I sort of hijack this as I'm also looking for advice on cork 540s?
I live in the UK so pretty much have to get a feel for new moves on a trampoline (sucks, but its all we've got!). got a couple of short clips the other day and my friends say my attempts are misty 540, but when I throw it it feels different to a misty.
I'll try to explain the feeling, I throw a normal 540 at first but when I get between 90 and 180 I drop my head to my left shoulder and just sort of follow it around as I spot the landing... with permission I can embed a video clip but I its sort of frowned on to post vids in ski gabber right?
anyway, would love to get this trick in the bag. Have you had success OP?
I had the same problem with learning cork on tramp, try not to spot the ground so soon try to keep your eyes on the roof as long as possible, sketchy feeling but it will stop your head from going over into misty
I find cork 5s to not be that hard, I threw them often this season in the park....and I only threw one b flip. If your comfy with 5s, cork 5s are pretty easy. just carve really hard off the lip, setting for a 5, and dip the shoulder of whatever direction your spinning, and keep your head pointed in that position till you come around.
Backfllips aslong as you stay committed and flip/ have a big enough booter are simple, people just see them as a harder trick because it is more scary. I could backflip my second year skiing about half way through the season, but i learned seven's the last week and i found seven's to be a lot harder. You got it man.
