I don't know if NS is a great place to talk about football, but if you like the eagles this may interest you, if not I also find it humorous they went 8-8 and were the dream team.

Next, if you are a fan, or are not the reason I made the thread is mainly to ask what you all think about the Desean Jackson situation. As of now they plan to tag him as their franchise player, which if you don't know is to pay him the average of the top 5 players at his position for 1 year. This to me is a stupid idea for a few reasons.
1. You are paying a 5'9'' receiver too much money
2. If you want him sign him longer term
3. He will leave in 1 year if you don'

Here are my possible solutions to the problem tell me if you like one or have your own.
1. Sign him long term (keep him for more than one year)
2. Trade him (Your defense sucks trade him away for a LB)
3. Let him walk (He is not as good as he thinks he is, plus every knockoff white WR can return punts)
4. (goes along with 2 or 3) Go into free agency and get someone else, if you are willing to spend big money there are better options ( Vincent Jackson, Reggie Wayne, Steve Johnson, Dwayne Bowe)
5. (also works with 2 or 3) Draft a new receiver, preferably a tall black man they seem to do well
