Everyone is wondering where the WMDs could be. Could they have been destroyed? Possibly. Could they now be in another nation such as Syria? Possibly. Could an Iraqi insurgent be hiding them some where? Possibly.
Saddam's regime had buried this plane among other things in the sands of Iraq. Why? Well, that's beyond me. But if Saddam can bury an entire MIG in the sand, then imagine how easy it would be to bury a chemical warhead that is not even 1/20 the size of the plane. Maybe one day the winds will shift in the right direction or the right informant will step forward. But we will never know for sure, all we will know is that Saddam had used them in the past and had the technology to develop them. We also know he had a few tons of 'yellow-cake' uranium (highly useful for the production of nuclear weapons).
