Dea Millerberg, 38, wife of Eric Millerberg, who has been charged with child abuse homicide, unlawful sexual activity with a minor, obstruction of justice and abuse or desecration of a human body, has filed for divorce.
Dea Millerberg was also charged with abuse or desecration of a human body in connection with the death a 16 year old girl. Alexis Rasmussen’s body was discovered in Morgan County on
Oct. 18. She had been missing since Sept. 10, the same evening she had been babysitting for the Millerbergs. The teenager died from a drug overdose according to prosecutors.
Dea Millerberg had been booked into the Weber County Jail on the same day as her divorce filing. Along with the desecration of a body charge, she currently faces third degree felony charges of endangerment of a child or a vulnerable adult and two counts of falsely obtaining or dispensing of a prescription in relation to a separate incident. Millerberg pled not guilty to all charges and has been released from jail after bail was posted. Her first court
appearance is set for Feb. 22.
Eric Millerberg, 36, is currently serving zero to five years on a drug-related probation violation.
