CBS has now admitted that the documents used in their story for discrediting the President 'cannot be verified' and that 'they wouldn't have run the piece if they had known.'

Wow... let's take one incident at a single network and use it to judge an entire source of information as a whole. You're a genius. How about 'CBS has lost its journalistic integrity', and leave it at that, because that's all this proves.

If you don't get your news from the NEWS or INTERNET where do you get it from? Michael Moore? Or do you stick your head so far up your ass that you find something news worthy up there?

Remember it was a Blogger that broke the 'Memogate' story. Bloggers have also broken numerous other stories. Yes, some of their stories have been debunked, but so have the stories of major news organizations. The best way to get your news today is to use all sources. To deem an entire news 'medium' as not credible would be ridiculous. Read every site and paper you can and watch every show you can. Then look for consistencies amongst the reporting.

umm i probably get my news from a .gov or .org site, anyone else whos looking for news just searches google to fine the site with the most similar charicteristics on what u searched.

sure i used the web but not like other people do. i go to creditable sources and not bullshit sites.

^^ Who said gov't sites are always reliable? The gov't doesn't put everything on there and they too, often can put spin on items. That is why I say you should use multiple news sources. Just because someone works for the gov't doesnt mean they arent opinionated.

Well, it looks like the Daily Show has once again summed up my feelings; namely, the utter contempt and disgust I feel towards the administration at CBS news. Just despicable. Here, watch.
