So i have a boot on my car

I decided instead of paying my $400 of parking fines i will simply remove my tire and put on the spare.

yea thats going to be a big FUCK YOU to public safety when they realize their booted car is gone. i will then precede to Home Depot and rent a saw for an hour for about 40 bucks and cut the boot off. I will then place the boot back where my car was booted.

Well there are a few flaws in your logic. The boot covers the hubcap and nuts so you won't be able to get to them in order to take them off. Example.

unless they used some sort of really stupid boot that allows people access to the nuts but I don't know about that.

Also they have you're license plate and car info. So if you do manage to get it off they will be able to track you down and give you a much harsher punishment. Pay your parking tickets and get the boot off.

i can access the nuts on the car, the boot is only clamped around my tire. I am waking up at 4 am to do it, under the cover of darkness. yes i will try my best to get some pics.

No you wont get in trouble if a stupid parking lot put that on your tire. If was put on from the city or town parking people then you will get fucked. Also if this is from a college parking person they may find a way to fuck you and make you do community service or something.

If this is in a private parking lot them do it give it back. Dont destroy it they may try to get you from destruction of property. They do happen to have your license plate

I mean I am pretty sure they recorded your plates when they put the boot on. So even if you get it off and you drive away,they will just find you again and either arrest you or just do it again.

ok first i go to school in RI and i live in CT. so if they take my license plate i'll be far away.

secondly Public Safety at my private school put this on my car, not the police... (This is the same public safety who caught me selling $110 of alcohol to minors last week and just dumped it out. I didn't even get in trouble)

and thirdly i was able to successfully jack the car up and remove 4 of the 5 lug nuts but the fifth nut needs a key to take off. So i must locate this key today and then continue with the procedure tomorrow.

it looks like i'll be back out there again at 4 tomorrow getting it off and replacing it.

I'm a solid 50% there, 4 of the 5 nuts are off and then i just need to slide the tire off and put on the new one!
