I'm looking to get my first pair of twin tips to learn to ski park, and the Masterminds seem like a good choice for a beginner. I'm between 5'11" and 6' and about 175 pounds. Are the Masterminds a good choice for me or is there another ski in the same price range that will be better? Any owners of Masterminds have feedback?
I dont know of i would go with the masterminds at all. They are a piece of shit IMO and meant for lighter and smaller people. Look into the 177 afterbang.
at 175lbs I think you'll over flex it, it's a junior ski for groms who grow fast so their parent don't want to spend a load of $$$ on their gear also due to the lightness and soft flex it would be a good ski for girls, I would probably suggest my sis got it, she doesn't shred that hard just cruising
I'm 5'7 125. I had the masterminds last season. They're soft, light, and a lot of fun, but I broke mine. And I'm pretty small. I would definitiely suggest a sturdier ski
