I really don't know if I've given this too much thought or not enough thought or maybe the right amount of thought, fuck idk. But tonight after dinner I'm planning to propose to my gf. I'm freaking the fuckout right now. Anyone got any advice on how to stay cool and not totally blow it. I'm so fucking nervous like I know I got this or at least hoping I do but this is huge theres no redo. That what scares me. Sorry about all the rambling and shit I hope you night goes well too ns.

SHE SAID YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No date or anything set but its fucking awesome. Best valentines day ever. Crazy that just 2 valentines days ago I was starting to think that true love wouldn't ever find it's way into my life. Last years with her was great, but this year was awesome.

I didn't lose the ring. I stuttered a little bit cause I was so nervous but I went straight from the heart and she knew I meant it. We stayed up almost all night together, I still haven't slept. We tossed around some ideas. She wants to get married in PA since that's where most of her family is from, I'm cool with that. But yeah no date or location or any of that for a while. just in the holy shit holy shit happiness stage with some brainstorming ahead.


Sorry I didn't get on here sooner. It was such a crazy night. I know valentines day is a little cliche and people expect this stuff but it's hard to expect something that huge. I popped the question after dinner when we took a little stroll through the village(we're both winter people). I didn't want to do it in the middle of the restaurant, wanted to really be able to talk to her without any distractions. I saw a bench and we walked over to it. She sat down first and I got down on one knee and told her everything, how much I loved her, how i was sure she was the one, and that I wanted to spent the rest of my life with her. She was half crying by the time I go the ring out. The good kind or crying like holy fuck this is really happening.


Thanks for the confidence boost everyone. Sorry about how long that got.
