What small point and shoot camera to buy?

Im in need of a new camera, and im looking for something smaller, point and shoot sized. but not the point and shoot lack of controls. ive been looking at the leica d-lux 5, panasonic dmc lx5, and the fujifilm finepix x100. I know the leica and panasonic are pretty much the same, but from what ive heard the leica's internal software is better and it comes with lightroom 3, which id need. The x100 seems a tad big, but ive heard great things about the picture quality.
Im not in need of something credit card sized that i wont even notice in my pocket, more something i can carry in my pocket if i need. so long as its not too big to be pocket sized ill be fine. I just know if its easy to carry around most the time, i will use it so much more.

price isnt a huge concern, as it will be my main camera, and ill probably have it for a long time, but if i can save a little money then why not.

anyone have some advice? or know of other cameras to check out?

the x10 might be worth a look, or the new canon g1x

you could also look at getting something like a gx1 with the 14-42x lens. Around the same size and price as the x100, I believe a little smaller, but with 28-84mm zoom range (35mm equivalent), and it gives you the option of getting additional lenses in the future.

Yo man, I own an LX5 that you're interesting in and i reeeeally enjoy it. If you have any specific questions hit me up, i use it all the time as the camera that's always on me.

im now looking at the olympus ep2/ep3, and the panasonic gx1. from what ive read micro four thirds is awesome.. i dunno its tough tho, theres a lot of great cameras out there.

sonys nex series is pretty sweet, and they make a nice pancake 16mm lens that keeps it compact, but doesnt limit your options when it comes to lenses/future upgrades.
